VANCOUVER, August 5, 2003 -- Diamonds North Resources Ltd. (DDN-TSX Venture) is arranging a non-brokered private placement of up to 3,125,000 flow-through shares at a price of $0.80 per share.
Finder's fees of 6% of the gross proceeds may be payable in cash and finder's options on a portion of this placement.
The securities will be subject to a hold period of four months from the closing date. The proceeds shall be used for the continuing development of the Company's projects in Canada.
Diamonds North Resources Ltd. is a diamond exploration company with ten projects covering over 2 million acres of land in Canada's Nunavut and Northwest Territories. Eight projects are located on Victoria Island and two projects are adjacent to the De Beers/Mountain Province Kennady Lake advanced stage discovery.
This financing is subject to acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.
