	Wed Jul 28, 2004 $180,000 Non-Brokered Private Placement Completed
	Vancouver, July 28, 2004 -- Diamonds North Resources Ltd. (DDN -- TSX Venture) announces the private placement announced on July 14, 2004 has been completed. A total of 144,000 flow-through common shares were issued to Teck Cominco Limited on July 22, 2004 at a price of $1.25 per share. The shares may not be traded until November 23, 2004. The proceeds will be used for exploration on the Company's projects in Canada. Diamonds North is a dynamic exploration team focused on strategically advancing diamond opportunities and is determined to discover Canada's next diamond mine.
