VANCOUVER, June 17, 2004 - Diamonds North Resources Ltd. (DDN-TSX Venture) announces that the private placements announced on May 28, 2004 have closed. A total of 392,857 shares at $1.40 per share were issued on June 15, 2004.
The securities are subject to a hold period and may not be traded until October 16, 2004.
